Setting up Fedex with WayToShip

Below are step by step instructions on setting up your Fedex account with WayToShip

  1. Generate Fedex Developer Key
  2. Enter the developer key and credentials into Fedex configuration of WayToShip manager
  3. Generate and print 3 labels for each service you intend to use using the developer key and send to Fedex for certification
  4. Generate Fedex Production Key
  5. Enter the production key and credentials into Fedex configuration of WayToShip manager

 

1. Generate Fedex Developer Key

Open: www.fedex.com/developer

Select Web Services in the drop down list and log in with your Fedex User ID and password.

Click on Develop & Test Your Application link

Click on Obtain Developer Test Key link

Fill in the application

 After filling in the application you will end up with four credentials:

  • Developer test key
  • Test account
  • Test meter
  • Test password (coming from an email sent to you by Fedex)

 

2. Enter the developer key and credentials into Fedex configuration of WayToShip manager

Open: www.waytoship.com

Click on WayToShip Manager

Log in using your username or password or click on "Click here to register new account" if you don't have one yet

Click on "Carriers" tab, enable Fedex and fill in the four credentials you have received in the previous step
